Hey everybody,

I went out fishing with my friend from saturday til sunday. We chose a lake which is used in winter to hold the amounts of water when the snow melts.

So every year in fall they let out some of the water and the fish concentrate at a smaller area.

I was able to catch a nice mirror carp and two pikes.

It is getting colder and colder. Luckily the time of carp meetings begins, so we will hopefully survive the winter wihtout a lot of carps. :D

Have a good rest of the year.

Bye
Andi

Hello,

@ Dave: Jes, it is a really nice lake. In summer there is a swimming area and you can rent paddleboats. Lots of catfish in there too, this year they put a couple out up to 2,42 metres.

@ Andy: The pikes were about 0,6 metres long. The ones next to us had some up to 1 metre.

I'm sorry for my metric system, it has been a while since I used american style. :D

Bye
