Welcome to the all new Michigan Carp fishing website, over the coming months I hope it will become home to the many catch & release Michigan carp anglers. And also the huge legion of growing American carp fishermen.

Carp fishing has been a passion of mine for well over 40 years, since I caught my first carp way back in the seventies in the UK. At that time the methods, baits and tackle I was using  were very simplistic compared to some of today's modern methods. But they caught fish and probably would today in the right circumstances.

 It is sometimes very easy to get caught up in all the modern methods and gear especially those that have travelled across the Atlantic. Whilst I am open to anything that helps me catch more fish, and enjoy my fishing experience more. I try to keep an open mind about every new method, bait or tackle development. I do however in most cases like to keep things as simple as possible. That said I have been known to stray a bit from that philosophy especially on the bait front, as a couple of my fishing buddies will no doubt agree with. 

Michigan Carp will try to provide you with some of the best carp fishing information on the internet, I will try to provide a user friendly, easy to use carp angling website which has a ton of useful information for American carp anglers of all levels.

It doesn't matter if you are a rookie or a veteran carp fisherman, Michigan Carp will have something of interest for you. From alarms to zig rigs and everything in between.

I plan to re open the Michigan Carp forum the 'Bivvy' where you will be able chat to other like minded carp anglers about all aspects of our sport. Both old and new members are more than welcome to rejoin the new carp fishing forum when it is up and running and extend a warm welcome to all of you.

It is also my intention to have carp fishing product reviews, articles, how to videos, fishing venues. Carp fishing tips, tricks. Latest bait reviews, how to make boilies, boilie recipes, how to prepare particle baits. Method mix recipes where to source tackle and bait items that save you money and lots more.

Over the coming few months I plan to introduce some new and exciting features which will hopefully make Michigan Carp one of the most visited Carp angling sites on the planet for the catch and release carp angler, if not the biggest American carp fishing website.

During the testing stage you may find that you get some errors  returned to you, these will be rectified as and when I can and as the site grows. I am always looking for carp fishing product reviews, carp fishing articles, new carp fishing venues.
